With the branding and exhibition assets secured, the next objective was clear: a high-performance website that reflected the story of Cronos Defence. It was only once the branding was approved that the site could go live, which it had to do by the time that the BEDEX event launched (i.e. at tactical speed). This tight deadline meant zero time for full-fledged wireframe or user journey sessions. So, we needed to rely on our understanding of the brand to build a digital home that was both functional and visually striking. Our global mission: to build a professional and responsive platform that matched their new "straightforward" identity and communicated their expertise.
The biggest time-saver in this case: we used Webflow, which allows for designs to be developed instantly. In other words, our designers became the developers as well. It meant we could eliminate the lag of typical handovers. Moreover, the branding was already in place ànd we quickly understood the message that had to be relaid. That’s how we were able to move from homepage approval to full production in just two weeks. Finally, we reviewed and tightened the client’s existing copy to guarantee it was as punchy as the design. The result is a sleek, responsive site delivered at a pace that mirrors the decisive nature of the industry. Our high-speed work also solidified a lasting partnership: we’ve already been assigned to a new mission for them! Or how a no-nonsense approach can lead to long-term strategic success.
